Mrs.
Elizabeth Brown, wife of the Hon. Rasselas Brown, is considered
the "mother" of the Warren Shakespeare Club. She helped
to organize the club and provided her home for the founding meeting.
She was a member for 30 years.
The Hon. Charles H. Noyes was the first president of the Warren Shakespeare Club. He was a genuine Renaissance man--besides being a well respected lawyer and judge, he was a published poet, a talented actor, a musician and an intellectual genius.
